Energy Saving
TLV Disc-type Steam Traps may experience operational disruptions if exposed to cold weather or rain. To prevent losses due to steam leakage, TLV has developed an air-jacketed pressure chamber model and, for even higher insulation, a steam-jacketed pressure chamber model. The highly precision-machined disc-type valve and valve seat provide excellent sealing properties, preventing the unnecessary discharge of valuable steam.

Higher Productivity (Bimetal Type Automatic Air Vent Feature)
If the large amount of cold condensate and air within the system is not discharged as soon as the equipment is started, productivity may be disrupted. All models except the TLV P21S, HR150A, and HR260A feature an integrated bimetal type automatic air bleed valve. When the temperature is low, the valve opens fully, allowing for rapid discharge of cold condensate and air.

Easy Maintenance
For all TLV models (except P21S), the valve and valve seat are a single modular unit, guaranteeing easy and economical maintenance when replacement is needed due to wear, etc. For the FP46UC model, both modular valve seats and the entire Steam Trap are replaceable in-line.
