TLV Advantages and Features

TLV thermostatic steam traps operate based on the temperature difference between steam and condensate.

X Element

TLV All L, LV and FL series models use a thermoliquid-filled X-element that acts as a valve.

Higher Productivity

The TLV X-element discharges hot air, as well as low-temperature air and cold condensate. This facilitates the inflow of steam, shortening start-up times.

It protects the equipment.

Due to the 'failure-free' nature of the TLV X-element, the valve remains open even in the event of a malfunction; this means that the equipment continues to operate (and there is no steam loss).

TLV Long Service Life

Rust and sediment entering the steam trap from the pipes are discharged along with the condensate through the wide valve opening; this greatly reduces the possibility of rust and sediment accumulation that could clog the valve opening.
